Wow! Fox, Fluevog and Friends opened last night to a crowd of 600 people. It really was wonderful to see visitors in the exhibit space for the first time.

This crowd was extremely well-shod with most visitors decked out in their favorite Fluevogs, Fox & Fleuvogs, Peter Fox or Ken Rice shoes. Last night’s footwear on parade involved more varieties of shapes, colours and styles than I’ve seen at any other MOV opening night – or perhaps any other opening night I’ve attended anywhere.
I was happily unencumbered by the camera for the evening (I left the shooting to Darren) so have very few shots of anything much, including the amazing footwear. But I did get this (unposed) one near the end of the night.

I had the pleasure of meeting Ken Rice, John Fluevog and Peter Fox (who’s drawings I adore) at the party. Their work was truly inspiring to design around and Darren and I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on this exhibition.
